Women & Girls' Cricket
Harrogate has a thriving women's and girls section, attracting cricketers ranging from beginners to County standard, from juniors age 5 through to adults in our Women’s section.
Our Junior Girls section starts from Y1 & Y2 in All Stars, then we have teams in Under 9’s, Under 11’s, Under 13’s & Under 15’s, across a variety of softball, hardball, mixed and girls only matches through the season.

New to 2023 is the exciting development of Harrogate Senior Women’s Team, where our goal is to provide the opportunity for Women & Girls from the local area & wider district to become part of a competitive Women’s team to be proud of.
Our Women & Girls' hub will develop girls to play cricket from juniors to adulthood. We are committed to supporting the other clubs in the district who have girls' sections to give them a place to play as they progress through their own junior sections to a senior team working in partnership with other clubs.

In recent years Harrogate has seen many players represent our county and we continue to work closely with Yorkshire County Cricket Club in both the pathways, female coaching and hosting YCCC matches and YCB festivals.

We are currently taking applications for our Senior Women’s team; age is 14+ through to adults, if you’re currently playing or have previously played club get in touch.

Our Women’s team will complement the cricket offering the area, if you are currently playing for a local club you can continue support your existing club and have the option to play Women’s league cricket on a Sunday afternoon.

*Each age group subject to our maximum teams numbers, if we are at full capacity we will work with other local clubs to enable you to play.
