Soft ball season proves a big hit!

Over 40 women & girls took part in the league, starting with a training session (much needed for most of us !) from Brian, Tim & Phil (thank you for your patience) each team then played 4 matches & the 4 Harrogate teams took part in the nail biting finals week.

We had 2 great games of diamond cricket yesterday & then enjoyed some well earned pink fizz at Harrogate Cricket Club.

Thank you to team captains - Cath, Leana and Nat, and to everyone who has embraced the league, even though the vast majority of us had only played at the softball festival last summer.

We have witnessed one handed catches, 3 catches by a player in a match, 3 wickets in an over, high scoring runs & lots of run outs, slips, missed catches, shrieks, laughs & team spirit in abundance. Bring on the next soft ball Harrogate experience.
